JAMMU, Oct 8: A thief decamped with gold jewellery and cash during a function from a hotel in Greater Kailash area.
As per police sources, a man namely Dev Raj, son of Mansa Ram of Old Gurha Bakshi Nagar lodged a complaint with Police Station Gangyal stating that one unknown person decamped with a bag containing gold jewellery worth Rs 5 lakh and Rs 3.50 lakh cash.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 108/19 has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and hunt has been launched to arrest the thief, who looks like a child in the CCTV footage obtained by the police from the hotel management.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
