JAMMU, Nov 5: Domana police arrested a thief and recovered stolen cash from his possession.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged by Raj Kumar, son of Sunder Dass of Paloura with Police Station Domana stating that his servant namely Golu Kumar, son of Shiv Kumar, a resident of Kabir Colony Poonch House Talab Tillo has stolen Rs 7 lakh from his house.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 387/19 under Sections 454 and 380 IPC was registered and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Domana Police Station led by PSI Kulvinder Dev under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh conducted series of raids and finally nabbed the thief. On the disclosure of the thief, police team recovered Rs 5.92 lakh and a mobile phone.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
