Dogra Law College organises interaction on ‘Professional Ethics’

JAMMU, Nov 5: Dogra Law College organised an interaction session of its students with Bimal Roy Jad, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, on the Topic “Professional Ethics.”
Mr Jad has more than 180 reported judgements to his credit. In his edifying and enlightening address, he expounded over the ethics to be followed by an Advocate. While sharing his words of wisdom and experiences with the students of Dogra Law College, he said that the route to success is hardwork, punhcuality, and regularity. He also insisted the students not be book worms and try to be analytical. He explained with the help of his personal experience and experiences of the leading Advocates of the country, hardships faced by the young Advocates. Only by surmounting these hardships, one can become a successful Advocate, he added.
After the conclusion of his lecture, an interaction session was held in which several students asked questions. Earlier, Prof V P Magotra, Principal of Dogra Law College welcomed the resource person. He also discussed further plans for the bright future of the students. A memento was presented to the chief guest, as a token of regard by Prof V P Magotra.
The students feel enlighten after hearing the wonderful interaction session with the speaker. The event concluded with the formal vote of thanks by Humera Firdous, a student of Dogra Law College on behalf of all the students.
