RAJOURI, Oct 12: Police claimed to have solved a theft case with the recovery of stolen goat along with cash from the accused, who has been arrested.
The arrested accused, identified as Shokat Ali, son of Mohd Shafi of Majra Kund of Chassana in Rajouri, had allegedy stolen goat and cash, total valuing over Rs 35 thousands, of a man.
A case FIR 210/2021, under Section 379 IPC was registered in this connection at Police Station Thanamandi.
During investigation, Police rounded up the accused who confessed committing the theft. On his disclosure, the stolen goat valuing Rs seven thousand and cash to the tune of twenty eight thousand rupees were recovered.
