JAMMU, Sept 18: Bus Stand Police arrested a thief red handed while stealing items.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Deepankar Singh caught a thief red handed while stealing items including one onion bag weighing around 60 kilograms, one bag of potatoes weighing about 50 kilograms, one weighing machine and one wooden cart. The teams belonged to Padam Dev, son of Des Raj, a resident of Akhnoor.
The arrested thief was identified as Sanje Singh, son of Tej Bahadur, a resident of Punjab.
A case under FIR Number 60/2021 under Section 379 IPC has been registered against the arrested person at Police Station Bus Stand and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Mohita Sharma.
