JAMMU, July 7: Gangyal police under Operation Meghdoot arrested a thief.
As per police sources, a burglar was arrested by Gangyal police with the help of locals, when he was trying to commit theft in a temple at Apna Vihar near Kunjwani.
The arrested person has been identified as Deepak Kumar, son of Bishan Dass, a resident of Amritsar.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Gangyal police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gangyal SI Nayat Ali made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Mohammad Rafiq Manhas and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
