REASI, May 16: Burglars struck a house in Shiv Nagar, Ward number 12 of Reasi town and decamped with gold ornaments and cash.
The theft took place in the house of Satish Kumar, son of Kirpa Ram on the intervening night of May 14-15, when the family members had gone to Jammu. The thieves broke open lock of the main door and entered the house.
According to SSP Reasi, Sujit Kumar, worth of the stolen items was not yet estimated while Police has started investigation after collecting finger prints and other clues from the spot.
A case FIR No.73/2016 under section 457, 380 RPC has been registered in Police Station Reasi.
