POONCH, Nov 16: Some thieves barged into a Karyana shop in Kalaban area of Mendhar and decamped with some cash and other Karyana items.
The shopkeeper Basharat Hussain, son of Mohammed Hussain, resident of Kalaban, in a complaint lodged with Mendhar police today claimed that some unknown thieves broke into his shop on the intervening night of November 12 and 13 and decamped with many Karyana items and some cash. He said that local Panchayat members having affiliation to the NC asked him to solve the case in local Panchayat and suggested not to report the matter to police. But after two days, nothing could happen, then he moved to Police Station Mendhar today and lodged an FIR No. 178/2016 in this connection.
The police has started investigation into the case. Two suspects said to have been detained in this connection.
