JAMMU, Mar 7: Arnia Police solved a theft case within 24 hours and arrested three accused.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged by a man namely Lekh Raj, a resident of Kalyana with Police Station Arnia stating that some unidentified thieves have stolen his two cattle (buffaloes).
Acting over the information, a case under FIR Number 14/2022 under Section 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Arnia and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Arnia led by SHO Inspector Tilak Raj arrested three thieves and recovered stolen cattle from their possession.
The arrested thieves were identified as Mohammad Kaka alias Kaka, son of Noor Ali, a resident of Mango Chak Chatha District Jammu, Sartaj Ali, son of Seraj-ud-Din of Tehsil Ramnagar District Udhampur and Bashir Ahmed, son of Mohammad Ibrahim of Tehsil Bhaderwah District Doda.
Further questioning of the arrested thieves is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
