Theft case solved, stolen articles recovered

JAMMU, Mar 4: GRP Jammu today claimed to have solved a theft case by arresting two thieves and recovering all stolen articles.
According to a GRP official, a case regarding theft of 40 mobile phones at railway Station Jammu valuing Rs 4,78,000 was reported yesterday at police station GRP Jammu.
He after registration of a case FIR number 02/2020 in this connection, the investigation was initiated and during the process, the GRP team led by Inspector Vinod Kundal, SHO, police station GRP Jammu arrested two persons namely Vikas Verma son of Ramesh Kumar of Balpur (Majalta) and Shiv Anand son of Kuldeep Chand of Chenani (Udhampur), who admitted the crime.
“All the stolen mobiles were recovered from their possession and they were arrested while further investigation of the case is going on,” the official added.
