JAMMU, Apr 24: Panjtirthi Police solved a theft case with the arrest of a lady.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged in Police Post Panjtirthi wherein the complainant Vikrant Sharma claimed that radio equipment and some other gadgets worth lakhs were stolen from Common Transmission Infrastructure, Radio Station, Panjtirthi.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant Sections was registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Panjtirthi led by PSI Rahul Sharma under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Raghubir Singh, SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa was constituted.
The team rounded up a lady namely Mohini, resident of Rajeev Nagar, Narwal By Pass, District.
When questioned, the lady spill beans and admitted that she had stolen the equipments. On her disclosure, the radio equipment was recovered
Further investigation into the case is going on.
