‘THE-SARA’ provides woollens to needy children

JAMMU, Feb 15: Every year, the cold wave which sweeps across north India affects thousands of underprivileged children. To alleviate the winter related hardship of underprivileged children ‘THE-SARA’, a registered non-profit organization under its ‘mission compassion’ through ‘share the warmth’ initiative distributed woollens among the needy and underprivileged children at Sainik Colony.
Under the initiative, team ‘THE-SARA’ led by Dr. Raminder Jit Singh, Director ‘THE-SARA’ distributed sweaters and caps among 30 children of migrant workers putting up in Jhuggi clusters at Sainik Colony.
It is pertinent to mention here that this winter ‘THE-SARA’ under its ‘share the warmth’ initiative has been supporting underprivileged people through blankets and woollens and today’s distribution was fourth such initiative.
