Thanamandi police rescues 12 bovines

RAJOURI, Oct 13: Rajouri police has rescued 12 bovine animals from the clutches of two smugglers in Thanamandi area.
A team of police headed by SHO Thanamandi, Nazir Ahmad Dar under the supervision of SDPO Thanamandi, Iftikar Chowdhary was on routine patrolling when two Tata Mobiles bearing Registration Number, JK11A-0485 driven by Khadam Hussain, son of Noor Hussain and JK11B-5897 driven by Pervaiz Ahmed, son of Alam Din were intercepted and stopped at a naka point.
During checking, 12 bovine animals were found loaded in the vehicles.
Both drivers were arrested and the vehicles seized.
A Case under FIR No. 184/2018 and 185/2018 U/S 279/336/188 RPC has been registered and investigation taken up.
