Thakur Sabha team visits ailing boy, gives financial help

UDHAMPUR, May 19: A team of All J&K Thakur Sabha under the leadership of Sabha president, Keerat Singh Thakur visited in the house of Balwan Singh Thakur in village Darsoo, Udhampur as his son Anish Thakur, 12, is suffering from bone marrow cancer.
The visiting team gave Rs. 36,000 cash to Balwan Singh and directly transferred Rs. 15,200 into account no. 0884040800000962 for immediate treatment of the boy at PGI Chandigarh.
It is pertinent to mention here that a news in social media last week appealed for financial help to the boy as his father is a daily wager earning meager wages per month.
Thakur Sabha fully assured the aggrieved family to provide full co-operation in the matter of treatment.
Also many social organizations joined hands with the family for help and are donating money for treatment of the boy. The visiting team of Sabha included senior vice president, Kuldeep Singh Thakur, vice president, Ranbir Singh Thakur, district Udhampur president, Arjun Singh Thakur, district Jammu president, Romal Singh Thakur, publicity secretary, Jagdish Singh Thakur, core committee members–Rumal Singh Thakur, Nand Lal Thakur, Kulwant Singh Thakur, Janak Singh Thakur, Tehsil Ghordi president, Jagdish Singh Thakur and youth member Harjit Singh Thakur.
