Srinagar : One terrorist has been killed in an encounter with the security forces in Sopore.
One Army personnel was also injured in exchange of fire.
The encounter broke out between terrorists and the security forces in Malmapanpora area of Warpora of North Kashmir’s Sopore on Saturday.
A joint team of Army’s 22RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Malmaponpora.
A senior police officer said that a brief exchange of fire took place between terrorists and security forces in Malmapanpora after the suspected spot was encircled. (Agencies)
