JAMMU, Aug 30: Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today accused Pakistan of canceling Indo -Pak NSA talks recently saying that India has always favoured the dialogue process for settling the bilateral issues with Pakistan.
Addressing a Panch Kranti workshop or Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) here, today, Dr Singh said India never backtracked from the talks and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Dubai said that dialogue was the only way for settling all issues.
Holding Pakistan responsible for unprovoked shelling on the border and killing of civilians, he said that India has a history of thousands of years that it has never been an aggressor and it never attacked any country. “But we also did not allow any nation or invader to attack us and gave him a befitting reply”, he added.
India is great believer of peace but this should not be construed the weakness of its people, he said, adding we have full capacity and capability to give a befitting reply to the enemy.
Expressing serious concern over the loss of precious human lives during Pak shelling in border belt, Dr Singh said that a comprehensive project for providing temporary shelters to border people is in the pipeline and Central Government has taken up this issue seriously.
He said the Indian society should understand the role of the country as it never attacked any nation but took arms only to defend itself when attacked. Dr Singh said India is on a turning point this time as Narendra Modi brought a big revolution in the country, the foundation of which was laid in 1925 by RSS.
Terming India a greatest civilization of the world, he said British Historian Renold studied 35 civilizations across the world and he finally concluded that India was the only nation which can guide the entire world.
He said to revive Indian economy and regain its glory, the Prime Minister has given the slogan of Makein India. He said the role of youth is very important to make the country as Vishav Guru by 2020.
BJP State president and MP Jugal Kishroe Sharma made a scathing attack on Congress and held it responsible for division of the nation in 1947. He said the then Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru for his personnel interests divided the country. For BJP nation and its people are first but for Party and family is first, he added.
He said the Congress was responsible for the corruption in the country and Narendra Modi is wedded to free country from corruption. Congress promoted rubber stamp leaders to safeguard the interests of a particular family, while Narendra Modi is concerned for the entire nation, he added.
The workshop was of four sessions in which about more than 300 delegates from district and mandal units participated. Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra State President BJYM read the welcome address.
Workshop was inaugurated by State President & Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, State General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, National Vice-President BJYM Gurparvez Singh shall, State President BJYM Jammu Kashmir Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, Ashok Chouhan Prabhari, Yudhvir Sethi Parbhari state, Parimoksh Seth.
Speaking in 2nd session, Minister of Social Welfare and Forest Bali Bhagat said that government had started various schemes for welfare of girls and women of the state. He also said that his ministry of social welfare has abolished time consuming formalities in the process of widows pension, scholarships, death certificate and many more. He also revealed that very soon his Ministry will announces new schemes for welfare of girls to promote better education and better life.
Speaking on the occasion, National Vice President BJYM Gurparvez Singh said programmes of Panch Kranti will mark golden era of initiatives taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He urged all the Incharges of Panch Kranti plan to organise various programmes upto mandal level so that common man will avail the benefits of various schemes started by the Union Government.
In concluding session, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul emphasized on the role of organization. He stressed the Party men to make the people aware of the achievements of Government and party.
