Temple thefts worked out, 4 arrested

RAJOURI, June 7: The police claimed to have solved six theft cases in Rajouri area with the arrest of four alleged thieves today.
A police spokesman said that after about half a dozen theft cases in temples for the last some time in the area, the police was looking for the accused persons. In all the cases donation boxes were either stolen or broken. Acting on the basis of some clues, the police arrested four persons and they confessed their guilt. A donation box and some cash was also recovered from them.
Those arrested were identified as Azmat Hussain, son of Nazir Shah, Waqar Ahmed, son of Mohd Shabir, Mohd Sadiq, son of Mohd Sharief and Riaz Hussain, son of Rafiq Shah, residents of Rajouri area.
