Temple theft case solved, two arrested

JAMMU, Feb 21: Miran Sahib Police solved a temple theft case with the arrest of the two accused.
As per police sources, management of Kabir Mandir Nandpur few days back lodged a written report regarding theft in the temple and subsequently a case under FIR Number 17/2021 under Sections 457 and 380 was lodged at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Aijaz Wani under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan rounded up several suspects and finally arrested two thieves, who were identified as Manmeet Singh, son of Sardool Singh and Vikey Kumar, son of Banarsi Lal, both residents of Tehsil RS Pura, District Jammu.
On their disclosure, police team recovered stolen inverters, batteries and transformers.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
