JAMMU, Jan 22: Telogo Communications Ltd today launched its two new devices for GPS vehicle tracking in the J&K State.
Addressing media-persons at the launch of GPS vehicle tracking systems at Press Club here today, vice president of the Company, Rahul Vikram Singh disclosed that Telogo, a big brand name in the communication systems, has presence in 12 countries at present and has made inroads in most of the State in India. The company has announced its launch in J&K also and M/s Asian Sales Corporation, Trikuta Complex, B C Road, Jammu are the sole distributors for the J&K State. The company is doing very well in all the states and in J&K also, a good response has been received.
Giving more details, Mr Singh said these two new devices IM-203 and IM-204, being launched today are the complete solution for the fleet management and GPS tracking of vehicles. He said the products are a combination of a GPS tracker and monitoring software by which the admin or owner of a vehicle can get the real time information about the vehicle.
Referring to the important features of these products, the vice president said real time tracking, ignition cut off and accident detection are the three main features. Real time tracking is one of the most important and useful feature of MyMap devices. After installing this, the car admin can track every information about current location and path of the car. With the use of ignition cut off feature, the admin can cut off the engine of the car, if found it misused or stolen. Unless released from the App, website or SMS, the vehicle will not start.
Educating about accident detection feature, the TCL vice president said, if any mishap occurs, the admin can track the information at the time of accident – like speed of car/ vehicle, path, location of accident etc. It may be helpful in detecting most possible reasons of accident. Both the devices have an extra added chip and by installing this device one can track the opening and closing of the doors, engine and the air-conditioning. Any big transporter or head of Public Transport Corporation can monitor the operation of his fleet/ vehicles any where in the country with the help of his Android or other mobile phone while sitting in office or at home.
The devices have additional features like fuel monitoring, over speed monitoring, 2- way communication, SMS alerts , GPRS blind alerts, geo-fencing, summery via email, driver identity and camera monitoring. One can also monitor the safe travel of his/her family, especially late night hours and in case of any mishap the SMS alert can be passed on at least five numbers of the family group. It can be most helpful in PCR vans, school buses management, SRTC fleet, water tankers, ambulances etc. Ravi Bakshi, distributor for J&K concluded with the launch remarks and said that an encouraging response has been received in J&K State, which is militancy hit and has sensitive border. This device is very vital for monitoring security forces fleet.
