SAMBA, Mar 20: A teenager today drowned after falling into a defense ditch at Chak Dayala Gujran in Samba district.
He has been identified Latif, 15, S/o Roshan Din of village Chak Dayala in Samba district. The boy was playing near the ditch and suddenly he slipped and fell down in the ditch which was filled with rain water.
His body was shifted to DH Samba where doctors declared him as brought dead. Later the body was handed over to family for burial after postmortem.
The police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law.
