Teachers’ unions form JAC over TET issue

JAMMU, May 17: A joint meeting of various teachers’ and employees’ organizations was held today at Hari Singh Park, Jammu, to deliberate upon issues concerning the teaching fraternity, particularly the TET issue and the future course of action regarding protection of teachers appointed up to 30-10-2019.
The meeting witnessed participation from several prominent organizations, including Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF), All Teachers Association J&K (ATAJK), United School Teachers Association (USTA), Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRETTF), PM Package Employees Union Kashmir, and All Jammu Based Reserved Category Employees Association Kashmir JK.
Among those present were UT President JKTF Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh, UT President ATAJK Mrignayani Slathia, UT Senior Vice President USTA Malik Younis Rahi and others.
