Teachers Forum holds conference, highlights demands

KISHTWAR, Oct 16: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum organised one day conference under the chairmanship of its State general secretary, Ganesh Khajuria, in which teachers from far flung areas of the district participated.
While speaking, Ganesh Khajuria highlighted various issues including immediate posting of teachers and masters in their home town, appointment of superintendents and deputy superintendents in the 10th class examination on rotational basis, increase in the honorarium of ReT teachers, transfer policy for ReT teachers and regularization of educational volunteers (EVs) as regular teachers.
Among others who spoke were Fidous Wani, Raj Singh, Hafizullah Khurwani, Roop Lal, Jamat Ali Agha, Kuldeep Raj, Digvijay Singh, etc.
