JAMMU, July 17: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held under the chairmanship of State general secretary Ganesh Khajuria for discussion over various issues and demands of the teaching community.
The meet highlighted the demands, like adjustment of Lecturers/Headmasters prior to adjustment of Masters, filling up of vacant posts of masters, no pick and choose and adjustment of Lecturers and Masters who need to be posted in their respective districts.
The JKTF appealed the Education Minister for early redressal of their genuine demands. But at the same time, it also threatened to resort to agitational path if the demands are not addressed.
Those who attended the meeting, included Rajinder Gupta, Satish Dutt, Yog Raj Singh Slathia, Raj Singh, Rajeshwar Singh and others.
