JAMMU, July 17: A joint meeting of JTC and Soan Kashmir Front at Jagti camp today held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita its president discussed various problems being faced by the inmates of the camp.
Addressing the meeting Mr Pandita said that Government was not sincere in solving the problems of the migrants and protect their rights.
It demanded immediate implementation of PM’s employment package in letter and spirit, enhancement of cash assistance to Rs 15,000 per month. It criticized the PDD for not improving the power supply in Jagti camp despite the directives from SHRC etc and urged the authorities to improve the power supply failing which the camp inmates will again come to streets.
