JAMMU, July 29: All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation organised an Educational Conference at Government Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi under the chairmanship of Bhushan S Verma, State president and Maheshwar Prasad, State convener.
On the occasion, Director School Education GA Qureshi was the chief guest while MLC Master Noor Hussain and Mukand Lal Sharma were the guests of honour.
At the end of the conference, resolutions including strengthening of primary education, special package for deprived sections, review of CCE, SSA, mid day meal, recruitments, transfer policy, free supply of books, rationalization, RET’s and EV’s and Right to Education were passed.
All the resolutions passed were submitted to Director School Education and MLC Noor Hussain. GA Qureshi assured all necessary action in this respect.
Among others present were Pardeep Kumar, provincial president, Mohan Singh vice president, Ravinder Verma, Pawan Kumar, Manjeet Singh district president Reasi, Mohd Aslam Kotey and deputation of teachers from Kashmir valley headed by Raja Mohd Amin Khan, Vice Chairman, J&K Teachers Welfare Association.
