Teachers call on CEO, present memorandum

RAJOURI, July 17: A deputation of Teachers Welfare Forum under the chairmanship of its president, Mohd Amin Mir, general secretary, Balbir Singh, ReT Wing president and women wing president of the Forum, called on Chief Education Officer, district Rajouri and submitted a memorandum of demands (MoD) for redressal.
The demands put forth by them in the charter included fixation of norms for transfer of teachers, detachment of masters, teachers and ReT’s from CEO and ZEO office, transfer of gazetted and non-gazetted employees after the completion of minimum stay, drawl of salary of teachers, masters and ReTs before 5th of every month, regularization of EVs to ReTs after completion of seven years of service and payment to the teacher trainees that underwent 20 days training last year under SSA.
Other demands included in the charter were provision of stock articles and second face free supply text books to the students of primary and middle classes, maintenance of service record of master, teachers and ReTs and submission of ReT recruitment panel to Director, School Education well in time.
