JAMMU, June 11: A teacher at Government Middle School Chakli, Koteranka Rajouri was caught red handed while accepting bribe.
The accused, namely Mohammad Younis of Behi Nambal Koteranka Rajouri, was accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant Mushtaq Ahmad for forwarding the 2nd installment of bills for the work done of Rs 36,435 to ZEO office for release.
A special squad of Vigilance Organization Jammu (VOJ) under the supervision of SSP Nisha Nathyal caught and arrested the teacher against whom a Case FIR number 17/2014 P/S VOJ has been registered.
The tainted money was recovered from possession of the accused who was also taken into custody for further investigation.
