JAMMU, Dec 31: A Government teacher was injured after he was attacked by three unidentified youths at Belicharana area falling under Satwari police station.
According to a police spokesperson, the teacher identified as Ajay Kumar (30) son of Nika Ram, a resident of Poonch Basti in Belicharana, was assaulted by three unidentified persons, yesterday afternoon when he was on his way to home from Belicharana.
The injured teacher was shifted to Government Hospital, Gandhinagar from where he was later discharged after providing first aid.
A case in this regard was registered at Satwari police station and efforts were on to nab the accused persons.
