Tartaric acid declines on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, Aug 20:  Tartaric acid prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks on increased arrivals from producing belts.
Tartaric acid France prices fell Rs 5 to conclude at Rs 490 per kg.
Traders said subdued demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing belts mainly pulled down tartaric acid prices.
