Tarigami denounces venomous remarks of BJP leaders

Srinagar, Apr 23: Taking a strong exception to the venomous speeches made by Sangh Parivar-BJP, Shiv Sena, RSS, VHP- leaders like Amit Shah, Giriraj Singh, Parveen Togadia and now Ramdas Kadam, CPI (M) State Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has said the communal, fascist and divisive agenda loaded in their speeches reflects a pattern and should act as an eye opener for the proponents who see a ray of hope in Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India.
In a statement issued here today, Tarigami said the recent speeches made by these BJP-Shiv Sena-RSS-VHP leaders reveal a virulent propaganda that has now seeped beyond the cities and towns into the rural landscape of the country adding to the vulnerability of minorities.
The CPI (M) leader said that all these Sangh Parivar leaders have now come out openly with their nefarious designs to divide the people on communal lines.
“The proponents of Mr Modi who take pride in delivering poisonous speeches besides their Prime Ministerial candidate are actually little spokes in the larger wheel of the Sangh Parivar’s plans to make India as Hindu Rasthra,” Tarigami said.
The CPI (M) leader said that the Shiv Sena-RSS-VHP want to turn the Indian State into a religious monolith with actual control on the BJP. But what is more revealing is that Mr. Modi who since his projection as the Prime Ministerial candidate by BJP all along been claiming that his only electoral plank is “good governance” has failed to utter a single word disapproving what his adulators Amit Shah, Giriraj Singh, Parveen Togadia and now Ramdas Kadam, have said.
