TAPPS celebrates annual day with pomp and show

JAMMU, Feb 24: Tiger Army Pre-Primary School (TAPPS) Damana celebrated annual day with pomp and show, here today.
The event began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest, Col Aman Kaushal, Deputy Commander Chenab Brigade and Chairman of the School, which was followed by the presentation of annual report by the Principal Rajni Rikhye.
Students presented songs and performed plays during the day.
Saraswati Vandana was followed by Sha-La-La in which all were regaled by a wonderful dance and song performance by the little artists.
To highlight the importance of wildlife, ‘Baag Ki Sair’ found the tiny tots dressed up as monkeys, birds and butterflies to act like them.
The message of communal harmony was witnessed in ‘Jhanki Hindustan Ki’, which brought out Unity in Diversity.
Prizes were distributed among the meritorious students by the Chairman of the School.
The function ended with the presentation of the National Anthem.
