SRINAGAR, Jan 16: National Conference today appointed NC leader and former political secretary to Chief Minister Tanvir Sadiq as the political secretary to NC working president, Omar Abdullah.
Tanvir Sadiq, a prolific writer on politics, social issues and matters relating to empowerment of youth and women is the son of NC leader late Sadiq Ali.
Prior to his tenure as the political secretary to former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Tanvir served as the spokesman of J&K National Conference. Tanvir has also served previously as the head of the NC Cyber Cell and as Corporator of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
