MUMBAI: Director Aanand L Rai has rubbished reports of a third movie in the “Tanu Weds Manu” franchise.
There were reports that Rai and Kangana Ranaut were reuniting for a third movie but the director today dismissed it.
“‘TWM 3’ is definately not happening. I do have something else in the pipeline with Dhanush and will start work on it only post filming my current movie. Don’t know who is spreading the rumours,” Rai said in a statement.
Rai and Ranaut’s first collaboration ‘Tanu Weds Manu” in 2011 and after its success they got back together for the second part in 2015, which was again a hit though there were reports of a rift between the actor and the director. (AGENCIES)
