SRINAGAR, July 9: Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Taj Mohi-ud-Din reviewed the pace of works undertaken at several tertiary care hospitals of Srinagar today.
The Minister reviewed works undertaken at Lal Ded, Bone & Joints, SMHS and Super Specialty Hospital, Srinagar.
The Minister was told that works at these hospitals are apace and would be completed within the stipulated time.
Mr. Taj asked for co ordinated efforts between the GMC and executing agencies like PWD, JKPCC, UEED etc. to achieve completion of works at these hospitals.
The meeting also reviewed the status of upcoming super specialty Hospital, Srinagar. The Minister directed preparation of project report for landscaping of the hospital complex.
The Minister was told that demolition of old structures at Lal Ded Hospital has been completed and modular theatres are being readied for operationalization.
Mr. Taj directed construction of multi layer parking at the Super Specialty Hospital to meet the traffic rush of coming times. He also directed completion of Sewerage Treatment Plant at the earliest at these hospitals to ensure sanitation and cleanliness.
MD, JKPCC, T. R. Bhagat, S. E. R&B, Medical Superintendent, Super Specialty Hospital, Srinagar, Dr. Muhammad Amin Wani, Medical Superintendent, Lal Ded Hospital, Dr. Mushtaq and other officers were present in the meeting.
