Taj releases “Maati Kudam Karaindi Yaar”

JAMMU, May 14: Minister for Medical Education, Sports and Youth Services, Taj Mohi-ud-Din today inaugurated an autobiography titled “Maati Kudam Karaindi Yaar” in Punjabi written by Khalid Hussain, an eminent Punjabi and Urdu fiction writer at a function organized by Jammu Civil Society for Art and Literature, Jammu at Gujjar Desh Charitable Trust Hall Jammu.
Prof Mohan Pal Singh Ishar, Vice Chancellor University of Jammu presided over the function.
A galaxy of writers, artists, intellectual, scholars and outstanding personalities from all walks of civil society attended the function.
Taj congratulation Khalid Hussain on his yet another literary feat and noted with interest the new tenor and style of writing an autobiography. He shared great movements of life to which he and Khalid Hussain cherished during lifelong friendship and association with him.
Prof Mohan Pal Singh while giving his presidential address also underscored the high qualities of Khalid Hussain of head & heart. He further elaborated that as a writer Hussain has invented a peculiar style and is known in Punjabi literary circle of Indian sub continent as new path breaker in content and style. His short stories are reflective of different pulls and pressure of human life of his era.
Mohd Aslam Qureshi, President of Jammu Civil Society for Art and Literature, Patron on the society Dr Masud Choudhar Ex-Vice Chancellor BGBSU, Pawan Kumar, Research Scholar from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Dr Manojit and Dr Barjinder Nasrali Assistant Prof of Jammu University also spoke on the occasion.
