JAMMU, Feb 26: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today accorded the charge of Health Department to Medical Education Minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din and additional charge of Sports and Youth Services to Housing, Horticulture and Culture Minister Raman Bhalla.
An order to this effect was issued today.
The portfolio of Health had been lying with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah after the resignation of Minister for Health (Independent Charge) Shabir Khan, Congress MLA from Rajouri, over molestation charges.
While Taj got the charge of Health, his Department of Sports and Youth Services went to Mr Bhalla.
Taj Mohi-ud-Din has now been designated as Minister for Health and Medical Education and Raman Bhalla as Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Sports and Youth Services.
