SRINAGAR, Sept 10: Minister for Medical Education, Taj Mohi-ud-Din today said that Government has taken number of projects in hand for the upgradation and development of health and medicare infrastructure in the State and work on these projects is being implemented on war footing. Emphasizing for providing better health and medicare facilities, the Minister stressed upon the Heads of Associated Hospitals and executing agencies for speedy completion of all such projects with judicious use of funds.
The Minister was addressing a meeting convened to review the functioning and execution of projects being implemented for the betterment of health and medicare setup.
Among others Secretary Health Department, Principals of Srinagar and Jammu Medical Colleges, Medical Superintendents of L.D Hospital, SMHS, Bone and Joint and G.B Pant Hospitals, besides other concerned officers.
Mr. Taj also stressed for satisfactory and full implementation of healthcare schemes launched by the Government so that benefit of these schemes reach to the deserving on ground.
The Minister asked the Medical Superintendent of L.D Hospital for shifting of Labour rooms and other necessary units to the new building and stressed for speedy completion of new blocks.
