POONCH, July 11: The Department of Youth services and Sports in collaboration with Poonch District Taekwondo Association (PDTA) organized Taekwondo Camp 2017-18 at Sports Stadium, here.
The Camp in which over 60 players took part was held from June 22 and concluded today.
The participants were imparted training of basic skills, apart from advanced techniques of Taekwondo by experts in the trade.
Mohan Sharma, DySP DAR Poonch was the chief guest on the concluding ceremony, while Major Manoj Thakur and Parvinder Kour were the guests
S. Rajinder Singh, Physical Education Teacher was the trainer.
Prabjot Singh was adjudged as the best camper in boys section, while Avleen Kour best camper in girls section.
Special guest was Prem Parkash Luthra, retired DYSSO, while President PDTA, Makhan Lal Bhagal was also present on the occasion, who later-on presented vote of thanks.
