JAMMU, Sept 24: A delegation of Swaran Vihar Welfare Association under the presidentship of SN Raina meet Commissioner Municipality and appraised her about the problems that stand confronted.
The main problems that were discussed included black topping of the lanes, construction and repair of drains, cleaning and covering of Nallah. The Commissioner assured the delegation that necessary action will be taken in due course of time. The delegation also arranged a meeting with the Managung Director of Cooperative Housing Corporation and discussed the main issues of the Colony. The concerned authority assured favourable action on the demands that were raised.
Earlier also the delegation met Chief Engineer, PDD and R&B in their office chambers wherein a detailed discussion was held about the power problems and black topping of the colony and it also requested for installation of additional transformers in the Colony. The concerned officers gave on spot instructions to the concerned quarters for early action. The delegation comprised of Kuldeep Raina, vice president, N M Gadroo and J.K.Raina.
