JAMMU, Sept 9: Acting upon the directions of State Vigilance Commission, the Custodian Evacuee Property Jammu has retrieved and fenced the custodian land illegally occupied by some persons at Raipur Domana, Jammu.
Earlier, taking cognizance of the complaint filed by S Paramjeet Singh, president, Panthers Trade Union, alleging therein that 16 kanals and 2 marlas of Custodian land falling under khasra number 100 at Raipur Domana, Jammu, has been illegally sold by Bodh Raj alias Ruda son of Shanker Dass in connivance with some unscrupulous officials of Evacuee Property and Revenue department, the State Vigilance Commission had asked the Custodian Evacuee Property, Jammu to get the matter inquired and submit factual report to the Commission.
While submitting the report, the Custodian Evacuee Property assured the Commission that 16 kanal and 2 marlas of Custodian land along with two single storey structures and some plinths, raised by some unknown persons on the land, has been demarcated and notified as Custodian property besides making necessary entries in the relevant Revenue records, thereby retrieving the Custodian land worth crores of rupees from encroachers.
