JAMMU, Apr 26: Surinder Ambardar MLC inaugurated a four days book fair and promotion of books which started at Muthi near here today. The book fair was organized by Kashyap Educational Economical and Charitable Society (KEECS) in collaboration with National Book Trust of India NBTI Ministry of HRD Government of India.
The children from different schools and youth of surrounding areas participated and were introduced to the books published by NBT and different publishers and book sellers publishing books of children, girls and youth. The others who spoke on the occasion included ex Director Education Jammu, A K Raina, A K Naaz, A K Hugami and others appreciated the programme and plan to educate our future generation with Kashmiri culture and literature.
Speakers stressed the youth to study and know NBT books besides their routine education and curricular activities.
President KEECS A K Pandita proposed vote of thanks while the fucnction was attended by AK Bhat, Vijay Kashkari, T N Bhat, Virender Kuchroo, Mohan Sopori, Bansi Bhat, Pardeep Pandita and Vijay Raina.
