SAMBA, Apr 28: Supwal Police has seized 20 nips of J&K Special Whisky, 180 ml each at Sunjwan camp during a surprise check today.
A police party of PP Supwal headed by SI Suridner Singh, incharge PP under the supervision of DY SP Headquarters, Samba during surprise checking apprehended one person namely Chuni Lal, s/o Sain Dass of Baarian Camp, Sujwan Tehsil and District Samba and recovered 20 nips of JK Special Whisky from his possession.
The police has registered A FIR No 86/2017 48 (f) Excise Act in PS Samba and investigations have been taken up.
It may be recalled that the Samba police on the directives of SSP, Samba Anil Magotra has intensified campaign against drug peddlers, bovine smugglers and criminals for last two months.
