POONCH, May 3: Medical Superintendent of District Hospital, Poonch, has clarified that death of jailed woman Jareen Begum was caused due to internal hemorrhage in the broad ligament in Poonch hospital yesterday.
In statement here the Medical officer, while reacting to a news item published in the columns of this newspaper further claimed that woman delivered dead child. He said Dr Shehanaz Bhatti (Gynecologist) and other staff members put their hard efforts to save the woman and her child. It is pertinent to mention here that DC Poonch has already initiated an inquiry into the matter.
