JAMMU, May 25: Jammu West Assembly Movement today took out a strong protest rally against Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayed and ruling coalition partner Bhartiya Janta Party for complete sell out of Jammu region to PDP by shifting dream projects AIIMS to Kashmir, new recruitment policy, NHAI road toll tax and discrimination with the Jammu region.
Addressing the protesters Sunil Dimple appealed people to observe a complete bandh on May 27 to lodge protest against shifting AIIMS from Jammu to Kashmir, NHAI toll tax, new Recruitment Policy, total surrender of Jammu before Kashmiri leaders and discrimination with the Jammu region. “The compete successful Jammu closure will definitely convey the strong message to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Raj Nath Singh about blunder committed by BJP by forging an alliance with PDP,” he added and asked Raj Nath Singh to come with an “official order for opening the AIIMS in Jammu”.
Dimple also asked the Union Health Minister JP Nada and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clear their stand on the AIIMS controversy.
Urging people of all 10 districts of the Jammu region to observe the complete bandh on May 27, Dimple urged all the organizations, Schools, colleges, students, doctors, transporters and others to maintain the pressure till the foundation stone of AIIMS is laid in the Jammu region.
The others, who addressed the demonstration, included Vinod Suri, Harbans Tondon, Vijay Khajuria, Dev Raj, Kulwant Sharma, Sanjay Sethi, Vipan, Mukesh, Rakesh, Joginder Kumar, Brahma Datt Sharma, Raj Kumar, Rajinder Gandotra and Ravinder Mishra.
