JAMMU, Jan 28: Sunil Dimple, President Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir, staged a demonstration here on Saturday, seeking rollback of property tax, land eviction notice issued by the Government and restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
As per a statement, Dimple blocked the Ambphalla-Janipur road and alleged that Government has been issuing one after the other notices targeting the poor and the marginalised sections of the society. He was especially referring to the recent land eviction notice issued by the Government.
Terming Government’s recent order about imposing property tax on traders, and commoners as “collection of zazia”, Dimple said he will protest by all means to oppose such “draconian orders” of the Government.
He appealed the LG Manoj Sinha to withdraw all “anti-people” orders.
