JAMMU, May 31: All the Government as well as private schools in Summer Zones of Jammu division shall observe summer vacations from June 7 to July 16.

An order in this regard was issued today by the Directorate of School Education, Jammu.
Even as the schools will remain closed, all teachers shall remain available for any on-line guidance to the students during vacation period
While the schools will re-open on July 17, the teaching staff shall report to their respective schools on July 14 for the readiness of school for students, like cleanliness, preparation of teaching learning material, lesson planning, time table planning, preparation of facilities for online classes like ICT Lab etc.
As per the order, any default on part of the Head of the school or teaching staff in observance of these directions shall attract action under rules.
