JAMMU, Sept 15: The Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls ordered by the Election Commission of India today started in Jammu and Kashmir after publication of Integrated draft electoral rolls by all 20 Deputy Commissioners, who have been designated as District Electoral Officers (DEOs), in the UT.
Special camps for registration of voters will be organized during the Special Summary Revision. People can also register online or can approach the designated authority for registration.
Period for filling claims and objections has been scheduled up to October 25.
Similarly, Special campaign dates have been scheduled on 24-09-2022, 25-09-2022, 01-10-2022, 02-10-2022, 15-10-2022 and 16-10-2022.
Likewise, disposal of claims and objections have been scheduled on 10-11-2022 while as final publication of Electoral Roll has been scheduled on 25-11-2022.
