Sukhnandan lays foundation stone of cremation ground at Gole Gujral

JAMMU, June 20: In an impressive function held at Gole Gujral village of Marh constituency, today former Minister and Ex MLA Marh, Sukhnandan Choudhary laid foundation stone of a Shamshan Ghat under Rurban Cluster village which will be completed at the estimated cost of Rs.50.00 lacs.
Construction of modern Cremation Ground was a long pending demand of the inhabitants of the area, the former Minister said while addressing the function on the occasion. The mission SPMRM (Shayma Parshad Mukhrjee Rurban Mission) was announced in the Union budget in 2014-15 under which development model of urbanization of rural areas will be done which provides efficient civic Infrastructure and associated services to the people living in rural areas he added.
Sukhnandan said “with the joint efforts of the State as well as Centre Government at that time, we have succeeded in getting this cluster village which will be developed on modern lines and the total cost of the project will be near about 100 crore and Rs.52 crore will be spent in first phase.”This cluster village also consists of small populated villages such as Trilokpur, Khayarian, Gole Gujral and parts of Hazuri Bagh,” he added.
He said Narendra Modi led Government at the Centre is keen to develop rural areas at par with urban. He also asked the people to take maximum benefits of Centrally sponsored schemes launched from time to time.
Among other prominent citizens of the area, Sarpanch Pyt, Gole Gujral S. Preetpal Singh, Sarpanch Chattha, S.Harjeet Singh, ex Sarpanch, Raj Kumar , ex corporator Chaman Lal and other Panchs were also present on the occasion.
