Sukhnandan distributes scooties among differently abled persons

JAMMU, Dec 30: Former Minister and MLA Marh, Sukhnandan Choudhary today distributed seven scooties among the differently abled persons of his constituency.
The scooties were distributed by the MLA in a special programme organized by the department of Social Welfare, J&K, at Marh.
Addressing the gathering, the former Minister asserted that differently abled persons are very vital part of our society with specialized set of skills gifted by the God and there is an urgent need to harness these skills from such people and also give them a secure and dignified life. He said that need of the hour is to give this realization to these people that they too have the special role in the development of the society.
He asserted that present Government at the Centre and State have taken various revolutionary steps and also made schemes which can provide direct benefit to the poor and marginalized.
In another function, the BJP MLA laid foundation stone of the compound wall of a community hall at village Smailpur, which was a long pending demand of the villagers. The compound wall will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 7 lacs. He said overall development of the constituency is his mission and also sought people’s cooperation in this regard.
Among others present on the occasion were SDM Marh, BDO Marh, District Social Welfare Officer, Tehsildar Marh, SHO Kanachak, Rajesh sharma, general secretary, BJYM, J&K, Vikas Choudhary, local people and Sarpanches and Panches of the area
