Sugar private mills prices up on fresh offtake

NEW DELHI, June 14: Sugar private mills prices improved by up to Rs 15 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today following restricted supplies from mills amid fresh buying by stockist and bulk consumers.
Marketmen said reduced arrivals and pick up in demand from stockist and bulk consumers mainly pushed up private mills prices.
Mill delivery M-30 and S-30 prices enquired at Rs 3,530- 3,650 and Rs 3,520-3,640 as comared from yesterday’s close of Rs 3,540-3,640 and Rs 3,530-3,630 per quintal.
In millgate section, sugar Dorala and Khatuli rose by Rs 15 each to Rs 3,615 and Rs 3,635, while Kinnoni, Budhana, Thanabhavan and Dhampur moved up by Rs 10 each to Rs 3,650, Rs 3,610, Rs 3,605 and Rs 3,575 per quintal respectively.
However, sugar spot prices maintained overnight closing levels on adequate stocks position.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,850-3,920, S-30 Rs 3,840-3,910.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,530-3,650, S-30 Rs 3,520-3,640.
